Recent ActivityLibrary Announcements  Scholastic Book Fair is Coming Oct 17-21st!The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to the Lamar Library October 17th-21st. The fair will be open daily during school hours, as well as during the Fall Festival, October 20th, from 5pm-8pm. We also offer an online fair if you cannot come to the the school to shop, or you have friends and relatives who wish to make a purchase for your child. The selection of books and merchandise is also much more extensive with the online fair, so check it out, and make a purchase that supports the Lamar Middle School Library! AR Top Readers 2010-2011Congratulations to our top AR readers for the 2010-2011 school year! The top reader for the school was Jason Garza with 1045 points! He will receive a trophy and a $50 gift card. The following students have also worked hard this year and will each receive a medal and a gift card for their achievement:
8th grade- Gold: Matthew Davlin, Silver: Amariz Cerda, Bronze: Kaitlyn Ellason 7th grade- Gold: Raea Spivey, Silver: Victoria McElroy, Bronze: Nicholas Webb 6th grade- Gold: Jason Garza, Silver: Nikolas Hernandez, Bronze: Andrew Schmidt All students who achieved an AR Point Club will be invited to an AR Celebration on Wednesday, May 25th in the cafeteria. Awards will be passed out, and everyone will enjoy pizza, popcorn, and other snacks.
